A huge cotton ikat ceremonial mantle collected in the 1960's in situe by anthropologist Wilhelmina Shumacker PhD. A relatively thick and even weave. Two 3" end fringes not on website images. The motifs are of horses and chickens, symbolizing strength and wealth, and animals of sacrifice. Very good condition, with very minor imperfections. 120" in length plus 3" fringe x 75" width.
